Learning to Say “No” So You Can Say God’s “YES!”

Recently the Lord gave me a word for someone but I have felt strongly that there are more in the body of Christ who need to hear it. The Lord says “I am taking you into a season where your answer should be “no.” You will be in this season until the day you hear in your spirit My resounding “YES!”  In this season of “no’s” I want you to learn the difference between My “yes” and yours – between […]

2024: The Year of Reconciliation and Restoration

God is a God of relationship. We see that in His endless pursuit of us. So great was His love and desire for relationship with us, that He moved Heaven and earth to reconcile us to Him. Romans 5:8 and 10 says: “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.…For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more having been […]

The Most Difficult Time of Year

Hi Everyone! I pray you’re all keeping sane amidst the holiday rush. I had to run some errands yesterday and the lines were out the door everywhere. This is definitely a time to grow in patience. I’ve seen a lot of accidents out there on the road in the past week and a half. Christmas is supposed to be “the most wonderful time of year” but for many, it’s filled with stress and anxiety. As pastors, this is the busiest […]

An Eternal Perspective

God rarely calls us when it’s convenient. At least that’s what I’ve learned. It seems like the call comes when we’re dealing with our own problems. Maybe we’re not feeling our best, and often feel totally unequipped. Is there ever a perfect moment? Life will always have its ups and downs. The perfect moment is actually right now when God calls, because it’s not about us, it’s all about Him. That’s not an easy perspective to have, is it? And […]

Enduring Mercy

One of my favorite attributes of God is His mercy. To receive mercy is to have the punishment we deserve withheld. Before Christ, we were dead in our sin…BUT GOD, rich in mercy, sent Jesus to pay the price so that we could be saved. Instead of punishment, God poured out His grace upon our lives and saved us. God no longer sees our sins and failures because we are new creations in Christ! Hallelujah! I’m so thankful for God’s […]

Hope For Today

Hello Friends! It’s been a little while since I’ve written a blog post. I’ve been working on Hope for Today, a new online bible study with my good friend Gail Ross. Gail and I met about 15 years ago when she invited me to share my testimony on her TV show Testimonies of Triumph. If you want to check out my testimony from all those years ago you can see it HERE. Oh my goodness, I looked like a totally […]

Are You Ready?

Hey, friends.  As the world around us seems to be rapidly changing, none of it should surprise us, since the Bible is clear about what will take place before Jesus comes back. The question is, however, are we ready for the changes also taking place amidst the body of Christ? The Bible is clear about this too and as I’ve watched and prayed, I believe we’re living out the beginning stages of Matthew chapter 24. I encourage you to take […]

How to Have Peace in the Midst of Chaos

I was driving with my son the other day and what we saw on the road from other drivers was absolutely scary. There were people cutting people off, people honking and angry at each other, people in a rush and doing careless things that endangered themselves and others. It was absolute chaos on the road. As a mom, I of course chose to use this as not only a driving lesson for my son, but a life lesson as well. […]

Standing on God’s Promises

The Bible is filled with amazing promises from God. God covers everything we could possibly need or want in those promises. What a good Father. He takes such good care of us. He knows what we have need of even before we do. Knowing the promises of God will enable us to ward off the lies the enemy so loves to whisper to us. Believing God’s promises will strengthen us to go hard after them, even when everything around us says […]

Supernatural Encounters With God

God wants you to have supernatural encounters with Him. The supernatural is the Divine intervention of God in our lives. Only He can do it. God wants to interrupt our lives with these Divine encounters. He wants us to experience Him in ways that we can’t even imagine. Hebrews 11:1 is such a popular verse that we often gloss over, and yet it is the key to unlocking the supernatural in our lives. It says, Now faith is the substance […]
